guess who's back? voile gifts, coco chanel review, & a so called winning bag.

hey all!
it feels like forever since i've been on. school has been hectic, & when i finally get a chance to get on stardoll, there's so much to talk about! but there's my dish of what's been going on.

Voile has given us a few new things: Starting off, has anyone seen the new Coco Chanel line? As I am typing this, there is no Voile Ladies floor dedicated to it, it's featured in the StarPlaza & the NEW CLOTHES section. I gotta give Stardoll it's props, these clothes are very buzzworthy. But hey, anything Chanel is buzzworthy. I was a little dissapointed in some items, such as the black & white Coco pumps, which look awfully like other shoes that Stardoll keeps remaking. I wasn't too impressed with some of the dresses, but other than that, the clothes were darling. I loved the Multi Pearl Necklace, Coco collar, & the handbags. So basically, love the accessories. There's also a decor line (Falling for Fashion) out, that in my opinion, is 10 times better than those clothes. But still, the fact that the clothes are available for nonsuperstars like me (currently), makes the clothes worthwhile. They aren't overly priced like the Heidi Klum by Jordache line, with moderately cute High Wasted Leg Trousers for only 5!
Bottom line: It's nonsuperstar & the accessories are adorable. But Stardoll could have upped its game a little bit. I mean, this is Chanel for crying out loud!
Another Voile new arrival? More gift dresses! These limited addition dresses are up for grabs, worth 15 SD, & the invitation expires Sept. 21st. For a peak at them, check out the fabulous' Stardoll Fashion Forward's blog, where they have the pictures of them -- HERE.

The mystery bag that was named after one lucky stardoller (congrats, Missmej!) who won a Callie Competition. The bag, which we got a peak of at SD Fashion Forward, isn't that cute. But I have a feeling that it'll be in the majority of superstars' closets.

new clothes line + gain fame for dressing to impress!

Hey people!

There are definitely quite a few updates at Stardoll.
For one, the much anticipated Heidi Klum by Jordache came out this week. The line is already very popular. Many of the medolls i've seen today are wearing it! HK includes many flowy shirts, and dark skinny jeans. A good reason many girls probably bought from the line is because these are clothes they have in real life. All of the clothes can mix and match well. There is also a floor dedicated to just Jordache, that are mostly made up of Jordache logo'd t-shirts and jeans. The problem? The items were very expensive, ranging from as little as 5 SD for a pair of their shoes to 10 SD for a Motocross Zip Jacket. it's not that we're not used to outrageous prices -- the Vivienne Tam and DKNY are costly regulars. but, HK is supposed to be casual wear, for crying out loud! What are your thoughts on this new store? I wanna hear about it!

Secondly, has anyone seen the new Catwalk? No no nooo, not the little strip of random superstar's on the opening page. But along with Stardoll's new MAGAZINE, they've gone ahead & made a new page. This page shows three randomly selected medolls and asks you to decide which has the best style. What is the prize for being selected as a top rated medoll? You'll be put on the Rules the Catwalk banner located on the left side of the Catwalk. What do you think? I personally think that the prize for it should be a little better. Dressing well should come with some rewards ; ) But still, good job Stardoll, this idea is generally very creative and a fun way to be recognized.

two new brands -- sneak peeks!

there's been quite a buzz about the new Taking 5 music video in the Stardoll Cinema. after watching the video, you get a free shirt. and we've also seen that there will be two brands coming out in the Star Plaza -- Taking 5 and Heidi Klum for Jordache! i don't know when these are premiering, but many are anxious to see what Stardoll has in store for us.

^ hah excuse my ridiculous spelling of my link on here. i would like to use the excuse 'keyboard malfunctions'. :P

So is anyone watching Gossip Girl tonight? I can't wait.
